Scope of services

3 Link provides consultative services & solutions to Power Protection & Packaged Computer Room Solution. Our service range includes Cabling, Server Room Setup, Server Relocation, Maintenance service, IT consulting services, network solution and offering a small unit like RJ45 data-line surge suppressor, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), IT Center remote monitoring system, optical fiber cable installation to managing a large-scale computer room project. In addition, we are the primary distributor of the EPI UPS system of Hong Kong, which is among the top 5 brands in Europe. We will continue to provide innovative products to enhance the IT environment, in order to find the simplest solutions to complex problems.

Project Implementation Details

3Link Strong Management Team

We have established a professional and resourceful Project Management team. Project Managers will arrange, design and the completeness of the project plan, handle every parts of the project in 100%. 3Link's Project Managers have extensive knowledge of computer room's software and hardware which coordinate with different parties - customers, renovation companies, building management organizations (BMO), legal entities and our expertise technicians. During the implementation period, the Project Managers work closely with building management organizations in order to meet the requirements stipulated in the guidelines of BMO accurately; including plan procedures, air conditioning structure, construction of electrical units and equipment, fire regulations etc., to give relevant legal bodies to make the approval process. Project Managers also follow the cabling works, relocation progress, and step up the time management; allowing customers to reduce the downtime during server relocation and ensuring the network speed working properly.

In addition, we focus on quality processes that its processes are assessed continuously and, where appropriate, corrective action programmers are initiated and targeted on key issue; the project manager acts as a reliable and accessible contact point to the Customer during the delivery of services as agreed in the Project Plan, to guarantee total customer satisfaction. Our management team establish contingency plans when handle ad-hoc project issues, handle crisis professionally when it happens, and propose ways to minimize adverse impact to the Customer.

  • On time – Complete the work within 30-45 days during renovation periods
  • follow the project progress, including the construction of computer rooms, the cabling works and relocation progress,"one-stop management "to enhance the thoroughness of the plan;
  • to act as the Single Point of Contact for the Customer;
  • to schedule and participate in regular Project Meetings with Customer;
  • monitor work progress and report project status to Project Steering Board and Customer;
  • to develop and adhere to the Master Project Plan with detailed activities and schedule, identify major milestones and critical activities;
  • to coordinate with the Customer, internal working parties, vendors and contractors to secure commitment of resources and activities plan;
  • to handle ad-hoc project issues and establish contingency plans if required;
  • to execute sound judgment on risks and factors which might affect the progress or schedule of the project, identify possible alternatives;
  • ensure everything working properly during server relocation, reduce downtime;
  • to handle crisis professionally when it happens, and propose ways to minimize adverse impact to the Customer.
